In Sen. Al Franken's first vote as an elected official for Minnesota, he rejected a White House proposal to dump some terrorism funding.
The amendment was sponsored by Sen. John McCain and aimed to scrap $6 million in funding to protect buses from terrorists. Sen. Amy Klobuchar also rejected the proposal.
The amendment failed 51 to 47. Let the Franken vote over analyzing begin!
