A woman walking her dog Friday night found a safe along railroad tracks near Linwood Park, according to St. Paul police. Officers believe the safe is the one stolen from Garrison Keillor's St. Paul bookstore, Common Good Books, early Thursday.

The Pioneer Press says the found safe was pried open and only papers were found inside. There are no arrests yet, but police are following some leads.

Last week we posted images from the surveillance camera and other details about the burglary. The two people stole $3,000 and took the safe with them.

The employees have been active on Twitter, asking anyone who knows who the "goateed loser" is to contact police.

"If anyone saw a goateed loser in long shorts and Longhorns cap carrying a safe at 1:20 last night, plz call the St Paul PD," the bookstore tweeted.
