The National Weather Service confirmed what we already believed: A tornado touched down in south Minneapolis Wednesday afternoon.

NWS says it touched down in south Minneapolis and then moved north toward downtown. More damage was reported at the Electric Fetus (on Franklin Avenue and 35W) and the Convention Center.

Weather experts are still surveying the damage in the area to determine the strength of the tornado and its path when it hit the ground.

We knew our tornado "expertise" was right all along. But will the NWS confirm it was God who did the deed?
