Apparently it's time to pull out the wool socks, obscene down comforters, and giant boots. It's winter in Minnesota!

At least it felt like it in some parts of Minnesota, where lows last night dropped into the 20s and 30s this morning. And expect similarly unacceptable conditions tonight there too.

International Falls hit a record low of 34 degrees, but that's not the worst of it. Embarrass took the coldest low last night at 27 F. Other ice-cold locations: Babbit at 29, Orr at 32, Ely at 32 and Hibbing at 33.

It's yet another reason all Minnesotans should attend the Great Minnesota Get-Together. At least we manage to keep our temperatures reasonably summer-like for our overeating fiasco.
