Another man shot during backyard BBQ robbery, this time in St. Paul

​ Police are looking for connections between two robberies at Minneapolis backyard BBQs this weekend and another Monday in St. Paul. The possibility of a backyard attack trend isn't exactly the most comforting story this Labor Day weekend.

In the latest incident in St. Paul, a 40-year-old man was shot in both of his legs. The injuries are non-life threatening, police said.

The robbery and attack occured in a backyard on the 700 block of East Magnolia Avenue. Three males came through a gate after midnight armed with handguns and demanded all at the parties get down on the ground and hand over any valuables on them. They were all described as black males in the early teens to early 20s, wearing bandanas and dark clothing.

The description of the crime seems quite similar to those in Minneapolis over the weekend too.
