Citizen journalism has changed politics like nothing else. Whether it's the Macaca moment, or the Democrat who complained about everybody carrying YouTubes, the ease of publishing in the digital era has turned everyone into a potential reporter.

If you have any doubt about how much this is true, please meet Exhibit A: Dusty Trice.

The local blogger--who has a Ph.D-level understanding of self-promotion in the digital age--happened to capture some of today's most compelling video: Al Franken using reason and rationality to talk down teabaggers who confronted him at the Minnesota State Fair.

The video was used on both Keith Olbermann's Countdown and the Rachel Maddow Show, appeared on popular website Gawker.com, and was retweeted by Craig Newmark, the founder of Craigslist.

Dusty Trice, take a bow.
