We reported last week that Minnesota Democrats Exposed brought some fresh blood to its blogging/tweeting staff in the form of Luke Hellier, a former campaign staffer for GOP Rep. Michelle Bachmann. Hellier's off to a take-no-prisoners start: He's posted court documents detailing domestic assault charges against Democratic blogger and former Al Franken campaign worker Dusty Trice.
Trice later pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct charges.
In light of the fact that I will be publishing many records on my personal blog, I feel it is appropriate to say that in the Spring of 2006 I pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct.
While I am not proud of the situation. I do not defend my behavior and I do not expect others to defend my behavior. I learned from my mistake and will carry with me the lessons I have learned.
Above all, I am sorry for my actions.
We all make mistakes. There it is. Ok, back to regular posting.
"I stand by my self-released statement," he said today. "This does not prevent me from writing my blog and I will continue to do so."
