'Miracle on Hudson' pilot at MOA Saturday
Either way, this guy is pretty amazing and worth meeting if only for a handshake and a nod. Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, the heroic pilot of US Airways Flight 1549 that landed in the Hudson River after a bird strike, will be coming to the Mall of America Saturday to sign copies of his book "Highest Duty: My Search for What Really Matters."
Sullenberger's quick thinking saved the lives of 155 people aboard the plane he was navigating in January. He managed to land the plane in the Hudson River in New York City without major injuries or deaths.
Come meet Sullenburger and get your copy of his book signed this Saturday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. He will be in the Mall of America's Best Buy Rotunda.
