The brother of Minneapolis police Chief Tim Dolan was a no-show yesterday for his scheduled court date on two drug charges.

Paul Joseph Dolan, 53, was charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of selling marijuana. He was busted using and selling drugs while working as a U.S. postal carrier.

When he failed to appear for his omnibus court hearing yesterday, the judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest. Tim Dolan has long distanced himself from his brother, saying they lost touch several years ago because his lifestyle choices, says the Pioneer Press.

We can only imagine an awkward Thanksgiving if these brothers ever even see each other. Dolan has enough on his hands trying to stop the media from talking about the alleged suspect beatings on his staff.
