Boasting a slew of scary thrills like haunted houses, hayrides, and low-scare movies, Zywiec's offers a full night's worth of family activities. Tickets are $18 (they also have discounted group rates) which plugs you into virtually every ghoulish amenity. A dollar from every ticket sold will go to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

With more than 900 scares, props and optical illusions (oh yeah, there's beer too) it's the perfect festive outing for anyone in a Jason mask. It's nothing compared to the rest of the grounds, which has everything from bonfires, hypnotists and dance clubs to body art fests, psychics and a mechanical bull. Adults: $17.95; Children: $12.95 (unless you get to Walgreens for a discount).
Fitzgerald Theater

Throwing it back old school is MPR's Movie Maven Stephanie Curtis, who will show clips from silent-era horror flicks like "The Phantom of the Opera," accompanied by the ominous sounds of the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. Adults: $12; MPR members: $10; Under-16: $6.
The Mounds Theatre, St. Paul
Tonight, Doors open at 9, All-ages
Admission is free for this B-movie, which includes a meet-and-greet with director Christopher Mihm. Popcorn and other concessions will be available as well as intermittent trivia. Donations are also encouraged, which go to non-profit St. Paul group, Portage for Youth.
James J. Hill House, St. Paul
Sunday, 6 and 7:30, Ages 8+
For the low-key, post-holiday enthusiast, costumed actors take you through dramatic readings of ghost stories from generations past, such as Edgar Allan Poe, Edith Wharton and the Brothers Grimm. Following the presentations, tours and hot cider will be provided. Fee: $10; MHS members: $8.

Yes it's another haunted house/hayride combo - but it's a mile long! Not to mention they have a haunted cornfield, bonfires, fortune-telling and face painting. Adults: $17; Juniors: $16.
Stillwater, MN
Tonight, Saturday, Ages 12+
Taking place in the Joseph Wolf Brewery Caves, these tours run until midnight on Halloween (10:30 tonight). Apparently the spirits themselves tell local stories of misfortune as they guide you through a candle-lit maze. $13 per person.
Buck Hill

This event hosts four attractions, each with its own frightening story. Live music performs nightly (tonight - Joyride, Saturday - The Pearl) with appearances by KDWB and KS95 DJs Saturday. $20 per person (Fri. - Sat.); $15 per person (Sun.)
