Woman knife-attacks boyfriend for buying cigarettes with laundry money

Sai See, 29, is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and making terroristic threats after she chased her boyfriend into the bathroom with a knife for buying cigarettes with laundry money. Both charges are felonies. She was also slapped with two counts of domestic assault.

The complaint said police were told that the male victim had come home after spending the laundry money on cigarettes and Sai See became upset and came after him with a kitchen broom. She claims he took it away. She also told officers that her boyfriend "held my wrists and punched himself with my fists."
She then admitted hitting him with a broom several times and after he took it away, she grabbed a large kitchen knife and chased him into the bathroom. The complaint said the victim held the bathroom door shut for nearly half an hour while she poked the knife under the door, sweeping it back and forth.
