Election Day: Time to get your vote on
We've collected the information and links you'll need to get to your polling place and prepare for your ballot. Check it all out below.
To find out your polling place, use Minnesota Public Radio's polling place form. Polls opened at 7 a.m. this morning and will be open until 8 p.m. tonight.
Not sure who you are voting for? The Star Tribune has a complete voting guide so you're ready to enter the polls with candidates in mind. The Southwest Journal answers some other common Election Day questions.
If you are voting in Minneapolis, your ballot will look different. This is the first year of Ranked Choice Voting, where you get to choose your top three picks for each office. To learn more about how this system works, check out the Southwest Journals explanation and sample ballot.
KARE11 also has a story on the new voting system:
In St. Paul, voters will decide if they want to try the same ranked choice ballot in their next election.
A little sad: Minneapolis mayoral candidates try one last time to get some press as Mayor R.T. Rybak refuses to debate them on fiscal policy. Doesn't look like anyone bothered to show to watch.
