Man who planned deadly fetus punch gets life in prison

Dameon Gatson, 25, was sentenced to life in prison with no parole after he paid a friend $40 to punch his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach to kill the fetus. Gatson was charged with first- and second-degree murder and first-degree assault.

According to prosecutors, the man hit Shyloe Linde twice in the stomach when she was six months pregnant. The assault caused premature birth and Gatson's daughter died 10 days later.
