Pawlenty's road show heads to Florida

If it's Friday it must be Florida: Gov. Tim Pawlenty will continue racking up the frequent flyer miles when he puts in an appearance Nov. 13 at The Forum Club of Southwest Florida in Palm Beach, north of Miami.

We're not sure if his "red-hot smoking wife," Mary, will be making the beach trip with him.

Although he keeps dodging the question of whether he's officially running for the White House, the peripatetic T-Paw traveled to Washington, D.C., in October to launch his own political action committee, and returned to the nation's capital for a $5,000-a-plate dinner on Oct. 22. He joined former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin in endorsing New York Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman's failed bid to win Republican Dede Scozzafava's seat in Congress. And last week he delivered a feisty speech critical of President Barack Obama while in Des Moines to introduce himself to Iowa Republicans.

The Forum Club bills itself as a non-profit, non-partisan political and public affairs organization. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, another possible presidential candidate, spoke at the club last week. , who like Pawlenty is seen as a potential 2012 presidential candidate. National Urban League President and CEO Marc Morial and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder are among those also scheduled to speak there this month.
