Woman called ex-boyfriend 3,482 times in 6 weeks

​By the time you've called an ex-boyfriend 3,482 times in just six weeks and been in trouble five other times since 2000 for harassing calls to him, maybe it's time to realize this man is not worth your time. You've spent nine years of your life calling this man and he doesn't seem to be digging it. Find a new man to call 24/7, perhaps? Some guys dig that.

Lynn Marie Mechels, 43, of Andover, Minn. made the calls over the summer. She was charged last month with one count of making harassing phone calls and one count of pattern of harassing conduct. Both charges are felonies. In August, she told police her phone possibly called her ex-boyfriend by accident. Right.

And the worst part: She's been doing this since 2000.

Her past phone call problems, according to the Pioneer Press:

Mechels entered a guilty plea on April 19, 2000 to one count of harassing communications and was placed on probation for a year.

On March 27, 2001, a sentencing order issued in Dakota County again ordered that she have no contact with M.K. She was also sentenced on March 30 of that year on yet a third charge of harassing phone calls.

On March 14, 2004, she pleaded guilty to yet another charge of harassing communications.

And on April 21, 2006, she entered another guilty plea to harassing phone calls.
