Adrian Peterson speeds 109 mph, fumbles traffic ticket

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson apparently couldn't wait to get to the stadium to run all over the Bears--he picked up a traffic ticket in Edina for driving 109 (!) in a 55 at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Associated Press.The slight distraction didn't stop Peterson from gaining 85 yards the next day as the Vikes routed Chicago in a one-sided domination attended by Prince.
Officer Molly Anderson declared that it was a "very routine," stop--which makes you wonder how often she pulls over NFL stars going twice the legal speed.
