Police are looking for a suspect in Roseville after receiving a report of a gunman prowling near an office building on County Road B between Fairview and Snelling Avenues.

Authorities have put nearby Brimhall Elementary School and Fairview Community Center on lockdown, in addition to evacuating an aforesaid office building. Roads are blocked off to traffic. No shots have been reported so far. Minnesota State Patrol and SWAT officers are on the scene.

A spokesperson for the Roseville police tells us "it's still an active investigation" and details will follow shortly. Stay tuned for updates.

UPDATE: Acting Police Chief Rick Mathwig tells the AP that the gunman has been taken into custody. The man is accused of taking a woman hostage with a sawed-off shotgun in the office building. Officers found the woman uninjured barricaded in a room. Two SWAT teams are still searching the building for the gun. No reported injuries or deaths.
