Before Brock: 10 career-ending freak accidents and illnesses

The continuing drama surrounding Brock Lesnar's health took another turn for the better with the announcement by his Minnesota MMA coach, Greg Nelson, that the heavyweight champ will definitely return to fight in the UFC.

Nelson's comments were made on MMA Live and blogged locally by Kyle Shiely:

"Brock Lesnar is definitely coming back to fight," said Greg Nelson, owner of the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy and one of Lesnar's head trainers. "He's just kinda coming up slowing, training, getting his body ready and being smart with his recovery."

"He's been going into the doctor and making sure everything is going well and he'll make sure to go in for a couple of more tests to make sure he's 100% ready to train when he starts up."

Lesnar was initially struck by a mystery illness that now appears to be a particularly nasty case of Diverticulitis.
