The Hennepin County Attorney's office says it expects to file charges on Thursday against two teenagers in last week's triple homicide at Seward Market and Halal Meats.

Charges were expected today, but prosecutors asked for another 24 hours in the case.

"It's just a complex case," Capt. Amelia Huffman, of the Minneapolis police homicide unit, told the Star Tribune.

Store employee Abdifatah Warfa, his cousin Mohamed Warfa, and store customer Anwar Mohammed were gunned down in the Jan. 6 tragedy. All were buried on Friday in Burnsville.

The first suspect was arrested early last Saturday morning. The second surrendered to Minneapolis police at the 3rd Precinct later the same day.
