Homeowner foils burglars posing as Minneapolis city workers

A nosy homeowner foiled the plan of three would-be burglars with a taste for theatrics last week.
A Minneapolis woman came home to find the three men decked out in orange vests and carrying around clipboards, according to KARE-11. When asked, they told her they were from the city's water department.
But when the homeowner started getting a little too nosy, one of the supposed city workers realized their cover was blown.
According to KARE-11:
She asked more questions and police say one of the men pulled out a gun.
The woman got back in her car and drove away.
The suspects, who police say were clearly not city workers, took off on foot.
You can't trust anyone these days.
