Puppies for the win! Sort of. One of Minnesota's most notorious puppy mills and one of the largest in the country will no longer be allowed to breed and sell puppies to pet stores, but she can still keep run her online business. Why? The United States Department of Agriculture doesn't regulate online puppy sales. Ah, the wonders of the Internet.

Kathy Bauck ran "Pick of the Litter" and "Puppies on Wheels" in New York Mills, Minn. After being convicted of animal cruelty and torture last year, the USDA revoked her kennel license today because her kennel violated several USDA regulations, according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She can no longer breed puppies to be sold at pet stores. She will still be allowed to keep the dogs as personal property and sell them online. The Internet is a sad, sad world.

WCCO did an I-Team investigation on Bauck's puppy mill in 2008. Check out the story here. WCCO features video footage inside her facilities.

Companion Animal Protection Society has additional footage inside. Check it out below.
