The two 17-year-old boys charged yesterday in last Wednesday's triple homicide at the Seward Market and Halal Meat shop on Franklin are each being held in Hennepin County jail on $3 million bond. They made their first appearance in court on Friday afternoon.

Police say Mahdi Hassan Ali was the gunman and Ahmed Shire Ali was his accomplice in a robbery attempt that ended with each facing three counts of first-degree murder. Both were arrested last Saturday.

Store employee Abdifatah Warfa, his cousin Mohamed Warfa, and store customer Anwar Mohammed were killed in the shootings. All were buried last Friday in Burnsville.
