Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue raises feminist ire, male eyebrows and -- you can be sure of it -- a ton of revenue for the weekly magazine. This year, its editors decided to augment the usual collection of scantily clad models with four scantily clad members of the U.S. winter Olympic Games ski team: Minnesota native Lindsey Vonn, Hannah Teter, Clair Bidez and Lacy Schnoor.

The four athletes were photographed at Whistler Blackcomb Resort in Whistler, Canada. Vonn, who got her start in alpine ski racing on the slopes of suburban Buck Hill is a leading contender for Olympic gold in the Vancouver games, which open Friday night. She's one of a long list of native Minnesotans competing in the games.

Her winning ways on this season's World Cup circuit cheesed off the German coaches so bad that they whined about her weight (she was too heavy).

Vonn told the New York Times that she's tired of being compared to hard-partying U.S.ski racer Bode Miller, who proved a let down in the last winter games. Her first race is Feb. 14 -- Valentine's Day.
