Man robs Uptown bank using needle, AIDS

At least it worked for this guy. A man robbed an Uptown bank Friday wielding a needle. He demanded money from the three tellers while showing the needle with that looked like blood. He said he had AIDS and "nothing to live for," according to the FBI.
The robber entered TCF Bank at 1444 W. Lake St. around 3 p.m. Authorities describe him as a white male, at least six feet tall, and weighing 170 to 190 pounds. He was wearing a dark knit cap, a facial covering, a black jacket, black gloves, black shoes and bluejeans.
He escaped in an ABC taxi. Spreading AIDS for the good of his pocketbook.
