That dead man found in the snow? Somebody killed him

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner says that 45-year-old Michael Fonta was the man found dead in the snow in the 300 block of 8th Street SE at about 4 a.m. Thursday -- and that somebody killed him.
According to a report in the Strib, Fonta had a lengthy rap sheet involving a lot of drunken driving, trespassing and other assorted petty crimes:
Fonta died of "complex homicidal violence," the medical examiner's office said.
