Christi Rowan may hear from U.S. Marshals

Denny Hecker's girlfriend, Christi Rowan, has evidently been making life hard for the court-appointeed trustee in his $767 million bankruptcy case. Court documents say she's not allowing the trustee's lawyer and an auctioneer into the couple's Medina estate.

They're looking for furniture, a pool table, televisions and hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash and gifts. All they've got out of her so far is a $60,000 fur coat and a $15,000 ring.

Time to call in the U.S. Marshals, Randall Seaver tells the court. Via the Pioneer Press:

The document asks for a court order authorizing the service to help them enter the house. It also asks that the order be issued quickly because "time would assist (Hecker) and Christi Rowan should they wish to relocate the property to avoid the Trustee's collection efforts."

Rowan was charged last week with bankruptcy and bank fraud in federal court, accused of helping Hecker hide his assets. She's due up for a hearing on Tuesday.

Besides his personal bankruptcy, Hecker faces 25 counts of bankruptcy fraud, wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy charges related to his failed auto dealer empire. His criminal trial starts in October.
