Minnesota House of Representatives.
Sorry folks, but it looks like we're all going to have to stick to Bloody Marys at the bar to curb that Sunday morning remorse.

A bill that would have allowed liquor stores in Minnesota to stay open on Sundays was shot down yesterday in a brutal 110-20 House vote.

The bill's author, Rep. Phyllis Kahn, DFL-Minneapolis, and like-minded legislators tried to make an argument for the free market in this one, but the critics feared it would be a detriment to already-struggling small businesses.

Oh well. There are some pretty killer Bloody Marys concocted around town. Check a out a few of our recommendations here.
