Woman shot dead in North Minneapolis

Minneapolis police report overnight that one woman was shot dead and another was wounded in the 1300 block of Logan Ave. N. at about 2:30 a.m. 
The dead victim's identity is not yet available and will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiners Office.
The wounded woman was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment.
The Homicide Unit is following leads, but as of early Thursday they have no suspects in custody. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the MPD tip line at 612-692-tips (8477).
