Chief Tim Dolan fired Andersen last fall after he got into a domestic dispute. Well, Andersen just got his job back with Minneapolis Police Department.

The Minneapolis Police Federation, the powerful union that represents city cops, wrapped up arbitration with the police brass Tuesday.

Andersen will be reinstated within five days, and will get full back pay for the nine months he has been off work, said Sgt. Jeff Jindra, who serves on the union board.

Andersen is the officer who shot and killed Fong Lee during a foot chase in 2008. Last May, a federal jury ruled that Andersen did not use excessive force in the shooting.
