John Harrington confirms run for Mee Moua's Senate seat

John Harrington, the police chief who supported Bush in 2004 and then proceeded to tear gas and arrest protesters and journalist at the RNC convention in 2008 thinks he can sneak through the DFL primary and become a conservative state senator from one of St. Paul's most disadvantaged and needy" districts...ridiculous. I might add the Chief was appointed by Mayor Randy Kelly Democrat turned Republican. He does not Use DFL on his Yard Signs. He does not answer his mail(check StarTribune.com. His civilian review record involving blacks and excessive force (Check SPP file IA#07-319 Dec.5.2006. When justice is denied to one of us all of us suffer. This chief has to come clean and if..if he wins a DFL primary even more so. That the St. paul Teachers federation and other policemen endorsed this man was their BAD. As a former teacher and a witness to this guys behavior I'd be najor embarrassed if he Won! He's another Norn Coleman and a recount in Mn.S.D. 67 Might serve us well

• no such thing ever happened, even if kirk the loser conservative jerk had a dream that something like that actually took place. the fact, if anyone actually bothers to check, is that it was actually white dflers on the eastside who voted for her into office (the hmong were but a small fraction of that total vote, not even 10%). hello?

• Does anyone remember when Mee Moua first ran for office? Her supporters started a fight outside her campaign office with Mee's rival supporters. They were hitting each other over the head with their cardboard campaign signs! Funny ass shit! At least all the liberal racist got a kick out of her election. The said: "Yeah, we have elected the first Hmong senator". Recognizing someone for their race = racist Oh wait... Their still doing this. (Obama) Anyhow Wow has she been a "do-nothing" and ONLY "votes with party" Senator. Perhaps John will actually think for himself and vote on behalf of how HE feels on the piece of legislation, and not only as his party has told him to do so. When our leaders vote like this, what is their purpose?
