O'Neal and SunShine Hampton aren't quite Biggest Losers
Between the two of them, O'Neal Hampton and his daughter, SunShine, weighed close to 700 pounds when they signed up for the shameless public humiliation that is "The Biggest Loser" on NBC.
O'Neal and SunShine the way they were, and aren't anymore
That was back in January, and hundreds of pounds ago -- not enough weight loss to win the show's $250,000 grand prize, but enough to be eligible for $100,000 awarded to the eliminated team that loses the largest percentage of body weight after being cast off the show.
O'Neal, 51 years old and 5 feet 11 inches tall, is a former football jock, and an Army paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division.
When the show started, he said his sports and military career took a toll on his left knee, and "one day I woke up, and here I am, damned near 400 pounds."
Here he is now:
SunShine, 24, is 5 feet 6 inches tall and tipped the scales at 275 pounds.
"I came from a big family, and I want to have a family. But in this shape, I'm not able to have kids. I don't even have a boyfriend. I never even been on a date," she said.
Here she is today:
