Team Entenza picks up former foe's staffer
Matt Entenza, one of three candidates left in the DFL gubernatorial primary race, just plucked a staffer from former opponent Paul Thissen.

Pam McCrory worked as a field organizer for Thissen, a.k.a. the statehouse's resident boy genius, before Thissen dropped out last month when he failed to earn the DFL party nod. McCrory worked on Al Franken's U.S. Senate campaign in 2008 as well.

Nick Conti-Masanz also joined team Entenza. Conti-Masanz worked on Elwyn Tinklenberg's 2008 failed attempt to unseat Michele Bachmann.

Entenza is in a three-way showdown for the DFL primary with former U.S. Senator Mark Dayton and DFL-endorsed Margaret Anderson Kelliher. A SurveyUSA poll released last week put the three at a near tie, with Entenza slightly behind his two opponents. All three candidates trailed Republican-endorsed Tom Emmer by about 10 percent.
