Tom Emmer finesses Bradlee Dean's sympathy for executing gays

Bradlee Dean's happy to support Tom Emmer, above, anytime he's asked. Dean also sympathizes with Muslims wanting to execute gays.
"Muslims are calling for the executions of homosexuals in America," he said May 15 on AM 1280 the Patriot. "This just shows you they themselves are upholding the laws that are even in the Bible of the Judeo-Christian God, but they seem to be more moral than even the American Christians do, because these people are livid about enforcing their laws. They know homosexuality is an abomination."
Muslims have better morals than Christians because they want to kill gays?
Minnesota Independent's Any Birkey reports that Bradlee's violent bigotry has put GOP candidate for governor Tom Emmer in a bit of pickle. Emmer, you see, has visited Dean's house, gone door-knocking with him, and appeared on radio with him -- all part of an ever-tightening relationship between YCRBYCH and the GOP.
That execute-the-gays talk was a bit much, though. Emmer's camp was forced to issue a statement later saying the candidate supports traditional marriage, but also opposes advocating violence or discriminating against anyone.
Dean, meanehile, said he'd be happy to set up a booth at any Emmer event to which he was invited.
