White Bear Lake doesn't want the dead's remains floating in the sewer

"About 96% of a cremated body is discharged from a smokestack into our air. A human body is turned into pollution. On average, each person is reduced to hundreds of pounds of carbon dioxide, floating bits of body particles, toxins, water vapor, carcinogens, and other undesirable substances. Most troubling, each incinerated amalgam tooth filings (silver in color) contains .74 grams of mercury, an element second only to radioactive materials in terms of being hazardous to the living. Once a body is buried, the final disposition of the body continues through a putrefaction process. Within four-weeks, the unsterile soft tissue begins to liquefy, and enter the soil and aquifers. Buried bodies remain infectious posing health risks to the living by entering our water supplies, according to the World Health Organization. Scientific research indicates that as many as 19 million Americans may become ill each year due to the parasites, viruses and bacteria in drinking water. Burials often involve embalmed bodies which contain formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is a known toxin, allergen, and carcinogen. Countries are considering a complete ban on the use of formaldehyde, as it is a biocide, meaning it is capable of killing living organisms. In the United States alone, about 8.4 million gallons of embalming fluid is pumped into human remains to displace the blood. The unsterile blood is usually dumped directly into the sewer."

• What to do with the dead is a 6.8 billion person problem, and growing. Every cremation and every burial is detrimental to public health. This new method requires 90% less fuel and emits 94% less carbon dioxide compared to cremation, without releasing any mercury vapors. The soft parts of the body become sterile, pathogen free, and contain no DNA. These soft remains can be returned safely to the earth. We recommend spreading the body's sterile, pathogen free, and without any DNA upon a field. It is too beneficial to be simply placed in the sewer.
