Keith Ellison and wife, Kim, file for legal separation
Looks like the marriage of Rep. Keith Ellison and his wife, Kim Dore Ellison, is in trouble.

Married for more than 20 years, they have filed for legal separation. They have four children and live in North Minneapolis.
Although Ellison is the first Muslim ever elected to Congress, his wife is not Muslim. She also lives with multiple sclerosis.
Star Tribune columnist C.J. said the separation was filed April 29, confirming the filing with Ellison's attorney, Carla Kjellberg.
"I am not representing Keith Ellison in a divorce," Kjellberg said. When I corrected myself by describing the document as a legal separation, Kjellberg said, "That's what's filed."
The news doesn't appear to have trickled down to Ellison's official House website:
Ellison, now 46 years old, was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He moved to Minnesota in 1987 to attend the University of Minnesota Law School, where he earned his law degree in 1990. Keith, and his wife Kim Ellison, have lived on the Minneapolis Northside for the past eighteen years. They are the proud parents of four children.
His campaign website does not mention her.
The Powerine bloggers used Kim Dore Ellison's MS to mock Keith Ellison during his 2006 campaign for Congress:
No word on whether Mrs. Ellison and her multiple sclerosis accounted for Keith Ellison's involvement with the Nation of Islam extending far beyond the 18-month period in the mid-1990's to which Ellison has admitted, for the fact that he was a local leader and spokesman of the Nation of Islam ...
