Mark Burrell caught hoarding 95 guns, ammo, animal crap and garbage

​Good try, dude: If you have enough garbage and animal feces in the house, the cops will still notice the insane amount of guns you have hidden under all the shit. Unfortunately this Austin man now has some serious legal problems ahead of him.

Mark Myrl Burrell, 54, had been squatting at his late brother's house when police entered to find the disastrous living conditions. He is charged with felony possession of a short-barreled shotgun.

Authorities confiscated 95 guns including assault rifles, shotguns and handguns from the property. When Burrell arrived to find police in his home, he claimed he owned the guns.

Police were tipped off to the situation when Mower County Auditor-Treasurer Doug Groh reported that Burrell was possibly squatting in the home of his brother who died in January. After property taxes went unpaid, the home was forfeited to the county.

When a deputy came to check it out with Groh, they walked through an unlocked door to find the filth and guns. There was also a dog living in the home.
