NiceRide's biggest-in-the-nation bike sharing starts tomorrow [Map]
We're the biking-est city in the country (and the cleanest, least wasteful and one of the most enviro-friendly). Tomorrow we're going to rub that fact in everyone's noses when Mayor R.T. Rybak cuts the ribbon on NiceRide, the nation's largest bike sharing system. (Map after the jump.)![]()

Let's hope NiceRide fares better than a similar program in Paris, where 80 percent of the initial 20,600 bicycles were stolen or damaged, the mere existence of the program set off -- mon dieu! -- a kind of existential crisis.
The festivities start at 11:45 a.m. with an inaugural pedal on the ugly colorful lime green steeds from the Central Library down Nicollet Mall to Peavey Plaza, and a noon ribbon cutting in front of the Downtown YWCA
