Teen stole 44 pairs of underwear because she didn't want to wear dirty ones

​When police asked a 15-year-old girl why she stole 44 pairs of underwear, her answer was pretty straightforward: "Do you expect me to wear dirty underwear?"

Of course not. Those darn washing machines are such a pain, aren't they? We never realized undies were meant to be disposable.

The incident happened June 19 at the Kmart on Maryland Avenue in St. Paul. She was busted hiding 44 pairs of underwear in a bag and then leaving the store without purchasing them.

In other panty-snatching news, a 47-year-old man was busted stealing pairs of women's underwear from the Walmart in Midway. That's a whole other issue we won't get into.
