Who is J.A. McClure? According to Amazon.com, he's the author of a freebie smooch for Gov. Tim Pawlenty. But the Star Tribune's been trying to track the guy down, and the the closest they've come is a phone number for an Applebee's restaurant in New Hampshire (where it sounds like whomever is answering the phone may be getting tired of pesky reporters).
Who is J.A. McClure?
Pawlenty's coming out with his own hagiography next year. His camp tells the Strib they've never heard of McClure. Who nows, maybe Jon Stewart can get to the bottom of the whole mystery when he hosts T-Paw tomorrow night on "The Daily Show."
