Ryedelle R. Loving was charged with one count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder. He was being held in the Hennepin County jail in lieu of $1 million bail.

The shooting about 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the Old Colony gas station, on Washington Avenue N. near Broadway, killed Gilbert Noland Jordan, 28, of Brooklyn Center.

The identities of the other shooting victims have not been disclosed. One suffered life-threatening wounds, and another was less seriously hurt.

Two other Loving brothers are convicted murderers. Ronelle and Revelle Loving were each convicted in the January 2007 slaying of a couple in Brooklyn Park in a jealousy-inspired shooting.

According to the criminal complaint:

Loving fired his shots from a car before speeding off, the more seriously wounded victim told officers.

That afternoon, officers were called to the alley behind a home in the 200 block of Irving Avenue N., where witnesses had seen people "wiping down" a car. Soon after, the vehicle was set on fire in the alley.

A family member told police that Loving asked for money for a bus ticket to South Dakota because "I have to get out town; it's all over the news."

An ex-girlfriend of Loving's told police that he said he shot the men because they had robbed him at a party.

Loving was arrested Monday at a home in the 300 block of NE. Buchanan Street. He had burn marks on his face and hands.

Loving's criminal record in Minnesota includes convictions for theft, damage to property and drug possession.

Public records show Jordan had been convicted of crimes ranging from narcotics to theft and had served time in St. Cloud prison.

Police said the station, which features a cheerful, yellow faux beehive, had not experienced any major crimes over the past year.

This morning at approximately 4 a.m. officers from the Minneapolis Police Department�s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Ryedelle Reginald Loving (Date of birth 3-10-1989) at 315 Buchanan Street Northeast. He has since been booked into the Hennepin County Jail for PC Murder. The case against Loving will be presented to the Hennepin County Attorney�s Office for consideration of criminal charges.

I personally knew this man, He may have been in trouble however he got himself together. He was a strong, intelligent family man. What person has not made mistakes. Rather than to judge and be quick to count his past. Know and please believe this man had his life together. He was so busy being a wonderful father, son and friend he had no time to worry with the stress of the streets or world.
