• About 5 years ago the sheriff's son was a student at Hill so I can see how it might have been covered up.

• This is not the first time this pedophile has dealt with the cops. About 5 years ago, a Ramsey County Deputy cited Penchges for lewd conduct and by the direction of a supervisor withdrew the citation. However, there is still a general report on file as well as dispatch recording due to the fact that this involved a foot chase by the RCSD deputy and another officer because he failed to follow commands of the officer and instead fled on foot resulting in the chase and ultimate capture of the suspect. So while the citation was withdrawn, the report and dispatch recording still remains on file within the Sheriff's dept.

In short, the catholic church is a joke because of this hipocracy as they are routinely found to have Gay Priests, Pedophiles, etc. serving as a Moral guide for their congregations.

• As a former Hill-Murray graduate, I feel deeply embarrassed for a man that couldn't come to terms with his own sexual identity. There is nothing wrong with being gay but there is something terribly wrong with being gay and living as a "straight" man while having a wife and children. I hope his family can come to terms with the lies and deception that come with this sort of "secret life" mentality. And as for the "it's not true?" Yes, I'm sorry but it is. No man grabs another man's crotch unless it's intended. Please come to terms with the fact that he is a gay man and was engaging in "public acts" while being a middle school/high school President. That is the real issue here, not that he is gay. He was in PARK, not a home or hotel room. We are not here to judge who he is but we can have an opinion on WHAT he does while holding a prestigious position at PRIVATE, CATHOLIC school.

• If you've been following the story you may have noticed he wasn't charged with anything. He is innocent.... speaking of that...what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Seems like the media has run with this story without all of the facts and have tarnished his exemplary reputation for no reason.

• Just because he is a "great guy" doesn't mean that he didn't do this. Why would the police make this up? Who gains from that? The guy did it....so what? Does that tarnish his record? We are human beings.

• Joe Peschges is an incredible educator, dedicated to his community and the youth at his school. He is a man of integrity who is well loved by his family and a huge circle of friends. All those who know him realize that this story and the allegations made by law enforcement are fabricated. Let's hope he gets even half or a quarter as much publicity to tell the truth about what happened!

• Mr. Peschges is an exceptional school administrator and has done nothing but good for the Hill Murray community during his entire tenure. Those of us who know him have the utmost respect for him and know what a genuinely good, moral, and ethical person he is - and that this entire story is nonsense. Stay strong Mr. Peschges! For those of you who don't know him - I challenge you to NOT believe everything the media reports. It is amazing how 'facts' can be fabricated and people believe them to be true. If you aren't up to the intellectual challenge I have posed above...well, then, that explains a lot about you.

• You cannot blame the school for this. It was his own personal choie, therefore not reflecting the school. People should not be judging schools or religions based on what one person did, in this example at least. He screwed up, big deal. He had a good life and we can't go around saying he's a bad person.
