Man shot dead is 31st Minneapolis homicide this year

Minneapolis police say they found a man gunned down in the street last night in the 2900 block of 5th Avenue South, just off East Lake Street, east of I-35 W. He died moments after an EMS crew arrived on the scene, the 31st homicide victim in the city this year. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has not yet released his name.
