Teen James Teto Grant ID'd as body found in Bassett Creek

James Tito Grant, a 17-year-old from Brooklyn Park, has been identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office as the body found floating in Bassett Creek near Wirth Park by a couple of families out for a weekend kayak paddle last Sunday morning.

No cause of death has been reported yet by the ME yet, so it's not known if the discovery is classified as a homicide. Golden Valley police are investigating the death.
