Taylor Swift gives Bullseye a kiss

Taylor Swift, John Legend, Keith Urban, Enrique Iglesias Charice and other A-list artists added some star power to Target Corp's annual national company meeting yesterday at the Target Center.

Backstage, Swift and Legend schmoozed with Bullseye, the company's miniature bull terrier mascot. They posted photos online via Twitter (below the jump).

Protesters unhappy with Target's financial backing of anti-gay candidate for governor Tom Emmer were on hand at the arena's front door when the meeting let out at 5:30 p.m., we're told by an attendee.

Meanwhile, Swift, decked out in red and white, gave Bullseye a kiss and tweeted, "Performing at the Target National Meeting in Minneapolis has it's perks. :)"

Project Runway's Nina Garcia, a Target blogger, and makeup artist Sonia Kashuk, were also on hand to talk about fashion. And Swift grabbed a snapshot of the red army from the stage and commented, "So, red was a common theme today in the Minneapolis fashion scene."

These private, star-studded gatherings are common practice for the retail giant. Last year, Pearl Jam, Norah Jones, Lady Antebellum, Michael Buble, Nick Jonas & the Administration and Winter Olympics gold medalist Shaun White stopped by to entertain Gregg Steinhafel's troops.

This year, John Legend got his photo snapped with Bullseye, and sent out a tweet to his own pooch, Puddy: "Just dropped in on the @TARGET national meeting in Minneapolis. Puddy, don't be jealous. Daddy's coming home!"
