Tim Pawlenty: 9/11 expert.
Tim Pawlenty is not pleased with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's suggestion at the United Nations summit yesterday that most people around the world believe 9/11 was an inside job.

On his radio show this morning, the Minnesota governor called Ahmadinejad a "nut job" and questioned those who didn't walk out on the speech.

WCCO has the sound bite, but here's the transcript:

A few of our friends got up and walked out with us in the United Nations, but a significant number, maybe a majority of the delegates, stayed there and listened to this nut job, who amongst other things, advocates for the horrific and unimaginable call...he has called for the destruction of Israel. That's how nutty this guy is.

Ahmadinejad laid out three theories of who was responsible the Sept. 11 attacks during his speech yesterday, one of which being they were orchestrated by the American government for various political purposes.

"The majority of the American people, as well as most nations and politicians around the world, agree with this view," said Ahmadinejad.

What? With all due respect to Mahmoud, he needs to get out more, or find a different polling outfit.

Here's the full video of the speech (Sept. 11 comes in around 10:00):
