Chelscia English.
Chelscia English has just learned first hand the truth behind that old saying, "You can't take your eyes off that kid for a minute."

That's what she did the other night in St. Paul when she parked her SUV with the engine running and ran into the Rainbow Foods on Arcade Street to buy a juice box for her 3-year-old daughter.

While English was gone, her kid got out of her car seat and behind the wheel, put the SUV in gear, crossed a lane of traffic and plowed into a Cost Cutters storefront.

Amazingly, no one was hurt in the ensuing mess of broken glass and jangled nerves. The Cost Cutters was closed at the time, and a witness pulled the toddler from the SUV once it came to rest.

English has been arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and booked into the Ramsey County jail. Her toddler is in the care of a relative.
