Jenn Sterger lawyers up [UPDATE]

Jenn Sterger just wants to talk with a lawyer.

The Pioneer Press reports that Sterger has retained the services of Joseph Conway, of the Long Island, N.Y., law firm LaRusso and Conway. But the firm is mum on any other details.

Favre has so far rebuffed questions from the press about pictures published by Deadspin, which it says he sent to Sterger in 2008 when he played for the Jets.

Update: A league official was in town yesterday to interview Favre about the matter, but Favre again dodged the matter in a press conference today.

"That's a league issue, and I"ll say it again, my focus is solely on Green Bay and that's where it's going to stay."

Sterger, now a TV host on the Versus channel, has only addressed the matter through her manager, Phil Reese:

"This is something that allegedly happened two years ago. We don't want a quick resolution, but the proper resolution."

Favres's wife, Deanna, is set for an appearance tomorrow on "Good Morning America" to talk about a new book.
