Timothy Wayne Wilson named as city's 35th homicide

​Timothy Wayne Wilson, who was shot and wounded on Friday, Sept. 25, is now the city's 35th homicide victim this year.

He died at Hennepin County Medical Center Saturday morning.

Fourth Precinct officers found the 28-year-old man with a bullet in the head after a shotspotter microphone directed them to 2426 North 4th Street. He was rushed to HCMC, where he was in critical condition all week.

MPD spokesman Sgt. William Palmer reported no arrests yet. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the TIPS Line at 612-692-TIPS (8477).
