Leah Ayers free on bail in naked Grady Sizemore hacking case

Leah Ayers is out on bail.

Police say St. Cloud State University student Leah Ayers hacked her way into pictures Grady Sizemore's junk. She's now free on bail while her case works its way through the Dakota County court system.

The 19-year-old is said to have used a pilfered ID and password to access former Playmate Brittany Binger's Yahoo e-mail account. That's where the naked photos of the Cleveland Indians center fielder were stored.

Sizemore sent the snaps to Binger. A boyfriend-girlfriend thing. But they suddenly popped up on the Internet in 2009.

Mind the teabag.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office figured out that Binger's account had been hacked, and traced the evidence to the IP address assigned to Ayers' computer.

The SO alerted Apple Valley cops, who searched Ayers' apartment in May and took away computers and peripherals. Later she showed them how easy it it can be to access any Yahoo! e-mail account: Use an open Facebook page to figure out where someone's father was born, then use that information to answer a security question in Yahoo! e-mail.

That's how Binger's account was hacked, too, so Apple Valley PD arrested her. She's been charged with with two counts of unauthorized computer access, a gross misdemeanor.
