Frazier never got the chance to display his vocal talents back in 1985.
Back in 1985, Leslie Frazier was a key (albeit quiet) member of the Chicago Bears team that ran off an 18-1 regular season and playoff record en route to winning Super Bowl XX.

The title game served as something of a double-edged sword for Frazier: Although he earned a ring, he also suffered a career-ending knee injury while returning a punt.

A starting d-back for one of the most dominant teams in NFL history, Bears' head coach Mike Ditka would later refer to the reserved Frazier as, "Probably the most underrated corner in football."

Tonight, as interim head coach for the Vikings, Frazier faces his former team in the unique environs of TCF Bank Stadium.

Herein, he also gets the chance he didn't get a quarter-century ago when he served as a backup dancer/vocalist in the Bears' famed "Super Bowl Shuffle."

Here are some "Super Bowl Muffle" verses for Les Frazier as he attempts to fell his former employer on Monday Night Football:

(Lyrics updated to fit modern day):

My name is Leslie, but please call me Les
While I try to stay mellow in this season of stress
Most of my football life I been part of the best
Now the color of purple is painted in jest

(Chorus):
We are the Vikings Circus Crew
Mufflin' on down, doin' it for you
From Chilly to Randy to Brett Favre's wood
We play outdoors 'cause our roof's no good

We know our mufflin' ain't too much fun
(Lost two broken QB's so we try a green one)
From Sunday-to-Sunday it's a fresh new struggle
Bumblin' our way to the Super Bowl Muffle

Was a smooth d-back 'till I shredded my knee
So I earned my coach rep under Dungy and Reid
Took over this mess from my boy "Chilly B"
Now I wait to get paid from my man Zygi

We are the Vikings Circus Crew
Mufflin' on down, doin' it for you
From Chilly to Randy to Brett Favre's wood
We play outdoors 'cause our roof's no good

We know our mufflin' ain't too much fun
(Lost two broken QB's so we try a green one)
From Sunday-to-Sunday it's a fresh new struggle
Bumblin' our way to the Super Bowl Muffle

Wore #21, which matches my record
But Bears in a Bank will cash their checks
I'm a man of faith, "Lord, cease this struggle"
Just three more weeks of the Super Bowl Muffle . . .

(Chorus)

And for some nostalgia: here's the original.  Frazier can be found dancing in the back row:
